We loved working with Kim! We did the greenhouse mini shoot. The space was beautiful and her team was helpful and professional. Her experience is clear, not just from the quality of her photos, but also from the ease with which she directs and poses her clients. There were also nice touches, like playing my daughter's favorite music. We were only with Kim for 20 minutes, but she still made the effort to get to know us in that short time. I cannot say enough about how amazing Kim was for our photo shoot. We have done 3 now with Kim. She is very calm, patient, accepting and accommodating. Both of my girls have autism, one has significant needs. She takes the time to make sure all our needs are being met. She goes above and beyond to make sure the experience is everything we want it to be. AND...her pictures were AMAZING!!!! I can't wait to do more photo sessions with her. From the onset, Kim does a fantastic job at creating beautiful sets with fun props! Her communication is quick and thorough, and the shoot itself is wonderful. Kim is amazing. Very few times I’ve met people who are truly passionate about their careers and Kim is one of them. Her pictures are proof of it! I brought my 4 and 7 year old to Kim for a photo shoot after school the other day with an initial pit in my stomach as both kids entered her home studio a bit tired and crabby from their day and wanting to just be left alone to play.  Within minutes, Kim had them warmed up and laughing, and by the end of the shoot, they of course wanted to stay!  Kim's enthusiasm was contagious, and the sibling moments she captured- priceless.  In addition, before and after the session she was very thorough in her communication.  She suggested a dress that she owns for my daughter to wear which looked FABULOUS and unlike anything we own. I stumbled across Novella Photography through a post in a local mom group and I'm SO glad I did! Since connecting with her in April I've been able to do two mini sessions with her and could not be more impressed. Kim designs amazing setups and provides outfits and props. Makes it so easy for me to just show up with the kids! She is so friendly and welcoming and instantly put my kids (and me!) at ease. They had so much fun pretending and playing and I was blown away by how Kim was able to photograph the perfect moments to really capture their personalities.
