REAL LIFE Superhero | Naperville IL Family Photographer | Milestone Session
Before Ruben was even a day old, this little one was already a fighter. Born with a very rare congenital heart defect, this superhero underwent open heart surgery just a few days after he was born. The amazing people at https://www.luriechildrens.org in Chicago, gave this boy the absolute best chance of living a normal life. 4 years later and this boy is THRIVING. He is so incredibly smart and has the cutest personality on him!
Time to Celebrate with a Superhero Milestone Session
When Mom and Dad told me that Rubenās theme for his 4th birthday party was going to be Superhero, I sprung into action. I had done similar set ups in the past, but now I got to photograph a real life superhero? I was beyond excited to capture his personality on camera during our session right there in the backyard of his Naperville home!
Superheroes donāt follow rules
Wellā¦at least in my playbook. I had no expectations going into this milestone session other than to capture Ruben having fun. I wanted mom and dad to be reminded every day just how far their little one had come and how much joy he brings to all that surround him. He dressed upā¦ and dressed down. Dressing down meant he got to show off his superhero battle wounds. Those wounds show just how resilient he is and how much of a warrior he is.
